We believe in long-term and successful client relationships.

We invest time in understanding client needs in an effort to deliver the right investment solution over the long term and constantly aim to evolve to meet the changing investment needs of HSBC's clients.

HSBC is one of the world's largest financial services organisations. With around 6,100 offices in both established and faster-growing markets, we aim to be where the growth is, connecting customers to opportunities, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions. Listed on the London, Hong Kong, New York, Paris and Bermuda stock exchanges, shares in HSBC Holdings plc are held by 216,000 shareholders in 127 countries and territories.

Diversity is in our roots. HSBC was founded 150 years ago with an aim to finance trade between Europe and Asia. We brought diverse people and cultures together for their mutual benefit, as we still do today. We believe that diversity brings only benefits for our customers, our business and our people. The more different perspectives we have, the better equipped we will be to meet the demands of our hugely diverse global customer base – whether they are starting a business for the first time, exporting to new markets, planning for their retirement or looking for financial products compliant with their religious beliefs.

That’s why, as an employer, we are striving for true diversity. We are creating a working environment that is open, supportive and inclusive at every level. One where individuality is embraced, doors are open, and recruitment and progression are based on merit.

Community representatives and charity partners

At HSBC, we focus our community investment efforts on education and the environment. Within these areas, we work with a large number of non-profit partners. Following the successful completion of the HSBC Climate Partnership, for example, we have now embarked on the HSBC Water Programme, a further five-year environmental partnership with Earthwatch Institute, WaterAid and WWF.
